What to expect
A treatment room that appears in your home — and disappears again
From the first message to the morning-after check-in, here is exactly how a Ruby Cupping visit works, so nothing on the day is a surprise.

The visit, step by step
Before, during and after
01Before
The day before & the morning of
Drink water generously from the day before — hydrated tissue responds better.
Eat lightly. For Hijama, leave two to three hours after your last meal (water is fine).
Wear loose, comfortable clothing you don't mind a little oil touching.
Choose a quiet, warm room with a clear floor space of about 2 × 1 metres for the massage bed.
02During
From the doorbell to the last cup
Ruby arrives in uniform and sets up in around ten minutes — massage bed, fresh coverings, sealed kit.
Consultation and written consent come first. Nothing is placed until you're comfortable.
Treatment follows your chosen therapy, with Ruby checking in on pressure and comfort throughout.
Cups are released, the skin is cleansed and dressed where needed, and every piece of waste is sealed away.
03After
The next 24 hours
Rest. Cancel the gym, delegate the school run if you can, and let your body do its work.
Keep treated areas dry for 24 hours (Hijama); a warm — not hot — shower is fine the following day.
Keep sipping water and eat something warm and nourishing. Avoid dairy and heavy foods for a day if you can.
Expect a check-in message from Ruby the next morning — and reply with anything at all.

Privacy & modesty
Your home, your rules
Sessions are female-only. Only the area being treated is uncovered, and you are draped with fresh towels throughout. You're welcome to have a female friend or relative in the room, and Ruby simply asks that men are elsewhere in the home during the treatment. Prayer times are respected — tell Ruby and she'll plan around them.

Small habits for the next two days
Ruby repeats these in person and leaves you a written copy — but it helps to know them in advance.

Rest for the rest of the day
Your body has just redirected a great deal of energy to repair. Sleep if you can; at the very least, sit down.
Hydrate, and eat warm and light
Water, herbal tea, soup, dates, honey. Avoid heavy, cold or very processed food for 24 hours, and dairy if you're following traditional guidance.
No exercise, hot baths or swimming for 24 hours
Heat and exertion increase circulation before the tissue has settled. Gentle walking is fine.
Keep incision points clean and dry (Hijama)
Leave dressings on until the next morning. If a dressing lifts, replace it with a clean one. Redness that spreads or feels hot should be reported.
Leave the marks alone
They are painless and fade within a week or so. No creams, scrubbing or sun exposure on the area.
Expect to feel light — or a little tired
Both are normal. If you feel faint at any point, lie down, sip water and message Ruby.
Timing
Allow 60–90 minutes from arrival to departure. Ruby will message you on WhatsApp if traffic delays her by more than ten minutes.
Payment
The fee is confirmed when the visit is arranged and settled on the day. Ruby will tell you which methods she accepts.
Changes
Need to move your visit? Give 24 hours' notice where you can — see the Terms & Conditions for details.
Know exactly what's coming

Pick a preferred day and time in the booking form and Ruby will confirm within one working day.
