What it is
If dry cupping is stillness, moving cupping is flow. After warming natural oil into the skin, Ruby places a cup under light suction and glides it in long, unhurried strokes along the back, shoulders or legs. The effect is like a deep-tissue massage worked from the inside out.
Because the cup moves continuously it reaches broad areas quickly, encourages lymphatic drainage and rarely leaves marks. It is the therapy Ruby most often recommends to clients who arrive tired, anxious or simply 'running on empty'.
- Duration
- 45–60 minutes
- Sensation
- A slow, warm glide — many clients drift off.
- Afterwards
- Rarely marks; occasionally a light flush that fades the same day.
Why women choose it
Most often sought for these concerns
Melts widespread tension
Long gliding strokes release whole muscle groups rather than single points.
Eases anxiety
Rhythmic movement and warm oil settle the nervous system — clients often describe it as the calmest hour of their week.
Supports lymphatic flow
Moving suction encourages the lymphatic system to clear fluid and waste, reducing puffiness and heaviness.
Nourishes the skin
Natural oils leave the skin soft and conditioned, with no residue of harsh products.
How a session unfolds
Five calm steps, in your own home
Ruby sets up in around ten minutes and tidies everything away afterwards — you simply rest.

- 01
Consultation & oil choice
Ruby confirms your health history, any skin sensitivities and chooses a suitable natural oil.
- 02
Warming the tissue
Oil is worked into the treatment area with gentle massage so the cups can glide smoothly.
- 03
Gliding cups
A cup is applied under light suction and moved in slow, sweeping strokes following the muscle and the flow of lymph.
- 04
Deepening
Where tension is found, Ruby may pause, adjust the suction or return to the area.
- 05
Settle & aftercare
Excess oil is removed with a warm towel, you're given a few minutes to rest and Ruby shares simple aftercare guidance.

Questions about this therapy
Moving Cupping, answered
It has a similar rhythm, but instead of pressing down, the cup lifts the tissue as it moves. Most clients find it reaches deeper than hands alone, with less discomfort.
