1. About these terms

These terms apply to every enquiry, booking and treatment provided by Ruby Cupping Services (“Ruby”, “we”). By requesting a home visit you agree to them. They are written in plain English on purpose — if anything is unclear, please ask before your visit.

2. Who we treat

• Ruby Cupping Services is a female-only practice. Treatment is provided to women only.
• Clients must be aged 18 or over. We do not treat children or young people.
• Ruby reserves the right to decline or discontinue treatment where she judges it unsafe or unsuitable, including where a contraindication is disclosed or discovered.

3. Booking & confirmation

• A request made through the website, WhatsApp or email is not a confirmed appointment until Ruby has replied to confirm the date, time, therapy and fee.
• Ruby aims to confirm within one working day. Availability is by arrangement and may vary by area.
• Your home address is required for a home visit. Ruby will confirm whether your postcode is within her travel area and mention any travel contribution before the booking is confirmed.
• Where a client wishes to book on a Sunnah day, Ruby will do her best to accommodate the date, subject to availability.

4. Cancellations & changes

• Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or move an appointment so the time can be offered to someone else.
• Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or where nobody is home at the agreed time, may be charged a late-cancellation fee of up to 50% of the session fee, at Ruby's discretion.
• If you are unwell — particularly with a fever, infection or acute illness — please let Ruby know and reschedule; no fee is charged for genuine illness with reasonable notice.
• If Ruby needs to cancel (for example, due to illness or travel disruption) she will let you know as early as possible and offer the next available date. No fee is payable.

5. Home-visit requirements

• Please provide a quiet, warm, private room with a clear floor space of roughly 2 × 1 metres for the massage bed, and access to a sink for hand-washing.
• Sessions are female-only. A female friend or relative is welcome to be present; men should not be in the treatment room during the session.
• Pets should be kept out of the treatment room for hygiene reasons.
• Ruby will treat your home with care and leave it as she found it. Please tell her about any parking, access or building rules in advance.

6. Health disclosure & consent

• Before your first treatment you will complete a consultation form and sign a consent to treatment. Please answer fully and honestly — Ruby's ability to treat you safely depends on it.
• You must tell Ruby about pregnancy, blood-thinning medication, bleeding disorders, anaemia, diabetes, low blood pressure, skin conditions, recent surgery and any other condition or medication. Let her know of any changes at later visits.
• You may pause or stop a treatment at any time.
• Ruby may ask you to obtain your GP's advice before treatment and may decline to treat where a contraindication exists.

7. Fees & payment

• Fees depend on the therapy and the number of cups and are confirmed when your booking is confirmed. There are no hidden charges on the day.
• Payment is due at the end of each session. Ruby will confirm the payment methods she accepts (for example, cash or bank transfer) when the booking is arranged.
• Any travel contribution for longer journeys is agreed in advance and included in the confirmed fee.

8. Conduct & safety

Ruby is committed to a respectful, professional and modest environment, and asks the same of her clients. She reserves the right to end a visit immediately, without refund, in the event of inappropriate behaviour, intoxication or any situation she considers unsafe.

9. Nature of the therapy & liability

• Cupping and Hijama are complementary therapies. They are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, advice or treatment, and Ruby does not diagnose medical conditions or advise you to stop any prescribed treatment.
• Temporary effects such as circular marks, mild tiredness, light-headedness or small incision points (Hijama) are normal and are explained before treatment. Please follow the aftercare guidance you are given.
• Ruby accepts responsibility for loss or injury caused by her negligence. She is not liable for outcomes arising from information withheld or inaccurately provided at consultation, or from failure to follow aftercare advice.
• Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally; the version published on this page at the time of your booking applies. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy. Questions are always welcome at info@rubycuppingservices.co.uk.
